Established in 2009, Tarua Mabati was created to address the increasing need for high-quality roofing solutions at affordable prices. It was the vision of Mr. Stephen Nzuve (CEO) to provide construction materials at reasonable rates to the local Kenyan population. Tarua Mabati initially focused on producing galvanized and colored steel roofing sheets that are durable, functional, strong, and cost-effective, thus enabling Kenyans to build better homes across the country. Driven by this vision, Tarua Mabati Limited established the 1st fastest state-of-the-art alu-zinc plant in Kenya in 2013, located in Mlolongo, Kenya. The company offers high-quality alu-zinc and color-coated steel roofing sheets under the Tarua Mabati Alu-zinc brand, catering to the local and regional market at competitive prices, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. The company's growth and success are attributed to the loyal customers and the support of financial institutions like KCB Bank and Barclays Bank.
